Project Background

In 2019, nearly a billion people – including 14% of the world’s adolescents – were living with a mental disorder. Suicide accounted for more than 1 in 100 deaths.
COVID-19 pandemic triggers 25% increase in prevalence of anxiety and depression worldwide.In the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, global prevalence of anxiety and depression increased by a massive 25%, according to a scientific brief released by the World Health Organization (WHO) today.

How Does the System Work?

The roly-poly is connected to user's phone by blueteeth. The roly-poly has a stereo for music playing. Inside the roly-poly there is an shaking sensor for sensing the shaking and changing the song.
